Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to let you know my backpack is coming on the 19th of July. I am really looking forward to starting the packing process as I am leaving in 44 days!! We just recently found out that we are actually backpacking around the world, not taking suitcases. :0 So everything I'm taking for 9 months will have to fit in my 63 L backpack. Fun days!!

Please pray for strength and encouragement to keep making the phone calls regarding fundraising. Those are stressful for me, but the meetings themselves I am actually really enjoying. Everyone has been so kind and encouraging and I am amazed to see God providing through all these people!

On another fun note I was able to connect with a future teammate who lives in Hudsonville and go out for coffee and I am so thankful for that time to meet someone who lives so close. It felt good to connect with someone before the race and meet with them in person.
